School Holiday Clinics- Learn To Lift Workshop

Our Learn To Lift Workshop aims to help amateur and elite athletes as well as parents to learn the foundational movement patterns, progressions and regressions of these movements and how to safely execute the exercises for optimal transfer to their sporting goals to increase overall athleticism and minimise the risk of injury. 

 

Each athlete will have the opportunity to practically participate in the sessions for a hands on approach to learn, practise and perfect the crucial movements in the gym setting.

This workshop is designed for:

Youth Athletes and Parents looking to start Strength Training.

 

Junior Athletes currently Strength Training and looking for technical feedback and understand exercise execution.

 

Over 2 hours we will cover:

Moderate/ Advanced Warm-Up and Movement Preparation.

The Squat (the movement, application, progressions and regressions)

The Hinge (the movement, application, progressions and regressions)

Upper Body Push (the movement, application, progressions and regressions)

Upper Body Pull (the movement, application, progressions and regressions)

 

You'll identify the weak links in your strength output so you know what type of strength training you need to prioritise AND what areas require the most attention.

At the conclusion of the workshop, athletes will receive a copy of the exercises covered and sample sessions to help guide their Strength and Conditioning.


Available for Athletes 13+ in all sports.
